Fremont Township has contracted with American Taxi to provide fare taxi coupons for Seniors and Disabled Residents. The goal of this program is to provide transportation to areas that our Dial-A Ride buses do not service. Coupon books are purchased at the Township Office for $15.00 and are worth $30.00.
Eligibility Criteria
- Seniors – age 65 and over
- Disabled – any age – must show proof of disability.
- Medical necessity – any age – eligibility determined on an individual basis by township personnel.
Conditions of Use
- Coupons are non-transferable.
- NO AIRPORT – DESTINATION LIMITED TO 10 MILE RADIUS OF RESIDENT’S ADDRESS.
- 1 book limit / month- unless medical necessity.
- Filled out application must be on file with township.
- No change given back on coupons.
- Can bring up to three riders at no additional cost.
