Fremont Township CERT educates residents of Fremont Township about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact our area, trains residents in basic disaster response skills to do the greatest good for the greatest amount of people, and provides support to local emergency response agencies.
Are you prepared for the unexpected? Is the safety of your family a priority for you? Do you have a preparedness kit for your family? Do you know where your gas shut off is or how to turn off the electricity to your home? These and other safety questions are answered in the CERT class being offered by Fremont Township. Learn about disaster preparedness, disaster fire suppression, disaster medical operations, and more.
A free six-week training course on emergency preparedness will run on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, February 15 through March 22. Sessions will be held at the Fremont Township Center.
