Fremont Township Parks & Recreation Department

Herb Riedel - Parks Manager

Serving Fremont Residents

Fremont Township strives to promote quality living through quality leisure. To this end, the Parks & Recreation Department emphasizes well maintained and equipped parks, playgrounds and open space, clean and efficient facilities, and a commitment to the overall well being of the community.

The Township owns and operates two parks,  Behm Homestead and Ivanhoe Community. Both parks are open sunrise to sunset April 1st through the first snowfall of each year.

We are happy that our parks serve over 1,000 children and that over 600 games a year are played on our fields.
