Village Homestead Mundelein On Sept. 13th, Village Homesteading Mundelein will host the annual Garden Tasting from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fremont Township Community Garden — the perfect backdrop for the free, family-friendly event.

Guests are encouraged to bring samples from their garden — raw, fermented, canned, dried, in a salad, cooked with rice…whatever works best!

Seed saving techniques will be demonstrated. You could go home with some awesome heirloom seeds to try during next season.
