Recycling & Shredding Event is back on Aug. 24!

For your convenience, Fremont Township is hosting our annual Recycle-O-Rama. Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 24 from 9 am until noon.

This year we will be accepting:

  • American Flags
  • Bicycles
  • Cell Phones
  • Christmas Tree Lights
  • Clothing (Belts, Scarves, Hats and Purses, Bed and Table Linens and Towels gently used or worn clothing and textiles accepted. Please bag them}
  • Dog Leashes and Collars
  • Electronics
  • Eye Glasses
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Hearing Aids
  • Keys
  • Musical Instruments-No Keyboards, Pianos or Drums
  • Shoes (please tie together or rubber band together)
  • Stuffed Animals
  • Yarn

Three bankers boxes of paper for shredding will be accepted until the truck is full.

You must make sure there are no binders, clips or paperclips because they jam the truck. We won’t be able to take your shredding if you haven’t removed them.

Our goal is to move people through as quickly as possible so we can not allow you to remove them here.

The event is at the Fremont Township Complex. Enter off of Erhart Road. If anyone is looking for volunteer opportunities, please call Nancy Lech at 847 223-2847 to register to help.
