Sign Up Help For Medicare Prescription Program for Fremont Residents

Medicare’s Open Enrollment period begins October 15 and ends December 7. Changes made to your Prescription Drug plan will take effect on January 1, 2020. This is the time of year when all people with Medicare can make changes to their Prescription Drug Plan.
For your convenience, Fremont Township will have a SHIP Counselor available to help you compare your current drug plan to new options to see if a different prescription plan better suits your needs or is less costly. This service is free.
If you would like to make an appointment with the Ship Counselor, please call Nancy at 847 223-2847. The appointments will start on October 15 and go through December 7. You will need to have an online account with medicare and a list of your current prescriptions before making an appointment. You must bring these and your medicare card to the appointment.
