HERBICIDE APPLICATION NOTICE

Please be advised that Fremont Township will be applying herbicides to select areas between April 23rd and May 2nd, 2025. The treatments will occur at the following locations:

• Fremont Township Administration Facility
• Ivanhoe Community Club Park
• Behm Park Facility

The following herbicides will be used:
2,4-D on turf areas to control broadleaf weeds
Glyphosate on flower beds and hard surface areas to manage unwanted vegetation
These applications are part of our routine maintenance program to control invasive weeds and preserve the health and appearance of our public spaces.

We kindly ask that individuals avoid treated areas until the herbicides have fully dried. This will ensure both safety and the effectiveness of the application.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Fremont Township at 847-223-2847
